How it works
Come Anytime
Your pass is valid anytime between 8 AM–6 PM. Come for one shoot or spend a few hours moving between ideas.
Bring Someone
Clients, models, collaborators, creative friends and content buddies are welcome. Every person attending needs their own $25 pass.
Share the Studio
This is a community studio day rather than a private rental. Sets and spaces are shared throughout the day.
Make Something
Brand content, portraits, portfolio work, headshots, editorial experiments, product photos, Reels—or the strange little idea you haven't had an excuse to make yet.
-
This is a shared studio day, so help us keep it creative, relaxed, and fun for everyone.
Share the space. Photo areas and setups are first come, first served. If others are waiting, wrap up your set and rotate generously.
Keep setups reasonable. Cameras, lights and small props are welcome, but please avoid taking over a space with large or elaborate setups.
Every person needs a pass. This includes photographers, clients, models, friends and collaborators.
Leave it better than you found it. Return furniture and props when you’re finished and clean up anything you bring into the studio.
Be mindful of other shoots. Keep conversation at a reasonable volume and avoid walking through active sets when possible.
Photo spaces only. Maker studio, coworking areas and kitchenette access are not included with this event.
Parking note: The Downtown Farmers Market runs at nearby Pioneer Park from 10 AM–1 PM on Saturday, and northbound traffic on 400 West is closed during market hours. Give yourself a little extra time for parking if you’re coming earlier in the day, or plan to park at the Gateway just two blocks down the street.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the studio.
