About Your Instructor
Meghan Mairéad is a Utah based artist and educator specializing in painting, drawing, and community work. After graduating with a BFA at the University of Utah, Meghan began to share the gift of art with high school students in the Salt Lake Area as a full time educator. Since then, Meghan has developed an affinity for painting and drawing animals and nature, and a deep love of community work like murals and installations. Meghan has facilitated over 13 community projects with the help of her high school students which have been displayed throughout the Kearns city. She has presented at NAEA for her community projects, recognized as an excel educator in 2025, and has led several community workshops around Salt Lake City.
