Your membership includes up to 8 hours of private Full Studio reservations each month, plus ongoing access to available photo areas for client shoots on a shared, first-come, first-served basis.

That means you can reserve the full studio when you need privacy, more space, or complete control of the environment, while still being able to bring clients in throughout the month without using your reserved hours.

*Storage includes one cubby for personal items and one shelf. Additional storage for larger equipment, props, or backdrops may be available for an additional fee or provided at Make Well’s discretion based on space and member needs.

Private Studio Reservations

Photographer Members may reserve up to 8 hours of private Full Studio time each month for client shoots, productions, or projects that require exclusive use of the space.

Private reservations are subject to studio availability and are intended to be scheduled in a way that keeps the studio accessible to the wider Make Well community.

• Hours may be divided between multiple bookings throughout the month.

• Private hours reset each month and do not roll over.

• Reservations must be made through the Make Well booking calendar.

• Existing bookings, events, and studio programming take priority.

• Make Well may limit the length or frequency of private reservations during high-demand times to ensure fair access for all members.

• Additional private studio reservations receive 20% off the current public studio rate.

Shared-Use Studio Access

Outside of private reservations, Photographer Members are welcome to bring clients into available photo areas on a shared, first-come, first-served basis.

Other artists, photographers, members, or staff may be working in the space at the same time, and shared-use access does not guarantee a particular room, backdrop, furniture setup, or exclusive shooting area.

Members should be prepared to work around other creatives and keep shoots contained to the areas currently available. Members may not ask other members or guests to leave or relocate in order to accommodate a shared-use shoot. If exclusive access is needed, a private reservation should be made.

Existing private reservations always take priority over shared-use access.

Photographer Membership Terms

Photographer Membership belongs to the individual member and may not be shared or transferred.

The member must be present for any client shoot taking place under their membership.

Clients, models, assistants, and collaborators are welcome as part of the member’s shoot, subject to Make Well’s standard capacity and guest policies.

The 20% member discount applies to additional private studio reservations only and is calculated from the current public studio rate at the time of booking. The discount may not be combined with other promotions, coupons, or discounted rates unless otherwise stated by Make Well.

Members are responsible for returning furniture, props, equipment, and studio areas to their original condition after use.

Make Well may occasionally limit access to portions of the studio for private reservations, workshops, exhibitions, maintenance, or special events. Members will be notified in advance whenever reasonably possible.

Make Well reserves the right to adjust booking procedures or establish reasonable reservation limits if necessary to maintain fair access to the studio for all members.
