Storage includes one cubby for personal items and one shelf. Additional storage for larger equipment, props, or backdrops may be available for an additional fee or at Make Well's discretion.
Private Studio Reservations
Photographer Members may reserve up to 6 hours of private Full Studio time each month, with a maximum of 4 hours per day.
Private reservations are intended for member-led photoshoots and creative productions, including scheduled client sessions and mini-shoots. They are not intended for general private use of the studio, parties, workshops, or organized events. Larger creative events require separate arrangements with Make Well.
Reservation Guidelines:
Hours may be divided between multiple bookings, reset monthly, and do not roll over.
All reservations must be made through the Make Well booking calendar and are subject to availability.
Setup and cleanup must take place within reserved hours.
Existing bookings and studio programming take priority.
Additional private reservations receive 20% off the current public studio rate. This discount cannot be combined with other offers unless otherwise specified.
Shared-Use Studio Access
Outside of private reservations, members may bring clients into available photo areas on a shared, first-come, first-served basis.
Other members and staff may be working in the studio at the same time. Shared-use access does not guarantee a particular room, backdrop, or exclusive shooting area.
Members must work around other creatives and may not ask others to relocate to accommodate their shoots. Existing private reservations always take priority.

Clients directly involved in the member's photoshoot are welcome.
Back-to-back client sessions and mini-shoots are permitted. Guests should arrive for their scheduled sessions rather than gather in the studio throughout the day.
Additional photographers must purchase separate studio access.
Memberships are individual and cannot be shared or transferred. Members must be present and are responsible for their guests.
Events & Gatherings
Membership access is for photography and related production activities, not general private use of the studio for meetings, parties, workshops, or social gatherings. Organized events, including ticketed experiences where photography is only part of the activity, require separate arrangements and advance approval from Make Well.
Sets & Equipment
Temporary sets and props are welcome during shoots, but must be removed or returned to approved storage afterward.
Large installations, oversized props, food-based productions, or setups requiring special accommodations must be approved in advance.
Sets may not remain installed between reservations without written approval.
Members are responsible for protecting studio surfaces and returning the space to its original condition.
These guidelines help keep Make Well a calm, accessible workspace for everyone. Make Well may decline special accommodations or establish reasonable booking limits to protect the space and maintain fair access, subject to existing membership agreements.
Studio access may occasionally be limited for events, maintenance, or programming. Members will be notified in advance whenever reasonably possible.
Membership Update: These terms and benefits apply to new subscriptions beginning November 6, 2026. Existing members retain the pricing, private reservation hours, and benefits established in their original membership agreements for the duration of their existing commitments.

These spaces are limited and offered based on availability, the needs of each artist, and how the studio is functioning as a whole. Members are also welcome to use designated community wall areas when available.

No. Make Well is a shared working studio.
Members use communal tables, open working areas, and shared resources rather than individually enclosed studios. The goal is to give everyone room to create while still keeping the space collaborative and community-oriented.

Members can choose an available workspace when they arrive.
Because tables and floor space are shared, we ask that projects and supplies be cleared away at the end of each working session unless another arrangement has been made.

Yes. Each member receives an assigned shelf for everyday materials and supplies.
Storage is intentionally limited so the studio stays comfortable and functional for everyone. Please check with us before bringing in large equipment, furniture, or supplies that will not fit within your assigned area.

Members have flexible access up to 24/7 depending on the membership.
Certain areas may occasionally be reserved for workshops, photo sessions, maintenance, or Make Well programming, but we will do our best to communicate those dates in advance.

Is the photo studio included?
Yes, but access depends on your membership type.
Creator Memberships + Punch Passes
Photo studio access is included on a shared-use basis whenever the space is available. You’re welcome to use available photo areas for personal projects, content creation, or casual shoots, but the space is not reserved exclusively for you and other members may be working nearby.Creator Members and Punch Pass holders also receive 20% off private studio reservations.

If you need the studio cleared and reserved exclusively for your shoot, please use your included private reservation hours or book additional private time.

We love seeing members bring ideas to life, though. Members who are interested in hosting something can submit a separate proposal through our workshop or space rental process.

Please check with the Make Well team before bringing someone who will be working in the studio with you for an extended period.
